Now I am certain Sarah Palin will either be dissuaded to run in 2012 or will lose the primary if does.
In what is now the feud of the week, Palin responded to Letterman’s apology after her response to his joke. Truth be told, the joke was funny.
Round 3: Palin called Letterman’s apology a “weak excuse” and continued to label his remarks as a danger to all young women. She essentially implied that Letterman was inciting statutory rape.
Looking back at the 2008 campaign, McCain did indeed take quite the gamble with this governor. She not only lacks the political IQ to know which battles are worth her time and energy, but she is too much of a self-serving, dramatic politician to be taken seriously nationally. She is still just the former mayor of Wasilla and the governor of a small state. Her politics are still small ball.
