The right-wing talkosphere’s attack against Supreme Court nomination Sonia Sotomayor is now at a fever pitch. They have settled on their arguments (she’s racist, she’s a woman, and she’s a bitch), and are ignoring Republican party leaders pleading them to shush. They run the party now, remember?
The new minority whip (thanks for the memories, Cantor) is G. Gordon Liddy. This lovely specimen of a man is not as adept as garnering headlines as Rush, but he deserves a shout-out for this beautiful piece of commentary. Some highlights:
- Speaking Spanish=speaking “illegal alien”
- Women must choose between making important decisions or menstruating, they can’t have it both ways
- The Supreme Court IS supposed to be an Ivory Tower
